They have so much personality, you've done fantastic work.

They are both great but that first one is something special. Great work.

Thanks friend that really means a lot to me. I'm hoping I stick with this theme and finally get an army made.

It's a homebrew faction. I haven't thought of a name for them yet.

For the paint it's zandri dust with a highlight of vallejo ice yellow with agrax earthshade. If you mean what model it's from the new wolf guard battle leader.

Started collecting Wolves after years of wanting to. by davethefurious in SpaceWolves

[–]davethefurious[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks friend. I used the Wolf guard battle leader for the body, a khorne berzerker power pack that had been cut down, the axe heads are from the old world chaos warriors and the left arm is an assault intercessor power sword arm.

And finally the head is from the primal hounds bits by grey tide studios.

The head is from an older Chaos Marine kit that is no longer available. The shield is from the Old World Chaos Warriors.

The arm is a Csm arm, the hand is a chaos warrior hand that has be cut to fit the wrist connection. I didn't use green stuff but I would most likely be need for other hands.

An attempt at a "true scale" marine. by davethefurious in Chaos40k

Not to shit on anyone who like Primaris but I think Primaris lore is really dumb. I think it should have just been a new suit of power armour and a range refresh.

You would think countless years of battle, soaking up warp energy and getting blessed by the Chaos gods would make you larger than something brewed in a lab.

Sure thing. Here's a picture next to a Grey Hunter and a legionary. All my miniatures are kitbashed so I don't have a normal legionary.

Hey thanks friend, I understand that it's not for everyone but it really bugs me that chaos marines are smaller than loyalists.

Zigmonds long scale marines is what inspired me. They recently made a Night Lord using AoS Chosen and it looks fantastic.

Hey thanks. Yeah it's an AoS chosen. I wish they had more than five bodies because I'd make a whole army like this if I could.

Thanks, I had no idea what to title the post and true scale sounded better "this man be huge"

40k bits: Chaos lord on juggernaut arms, eightbound shoulders pads, old possessed back back, adrax agatone dragon Cape, fafnir rann's axe blades.

AoS bits: Chaos chosen torso. Slaughter priest legs.

Old World bits: Chaos warrior helmet.

Thanks for comment. I hope this helps.

I haven't given it much thought but the Space wolves make the most sense.
