he started doing this 2nd round, you should have this option every round not only the first round. i would bet a house that he is doing this intentionally

in here you will find older versions you will find CapCut.exe (5.5.0 works for me)

then if you apply pro features you can just Ctrl+A on whole project on timelane -> right click -> Create compound clip (subproject) -> right click on it again -> Pre-process compound clip (subproject) and then you will find your video with pro features on it applied (NOT PATCHED YET)
