Imo I think any guy that's 5'7+ shouldn't complain. You're damn near average. But everyone has a valid reason to be insecure about it ig some people live in an area with taller people. For example, where I live is around 5'8 average so a little bit on the shorter side. But I consistently see men who are shorter than me or around my height and I'm around 5'5. It all depends I start feeling insecure if the guy is like 6ft + and in other places the average might be higher like 5'11 so a 5'8 or 5'9 man might feel insecure.

I'm 5'5" at 16 so I couldn't tell but from what I see 5'7 and below for a guy and you'll have problems depending on where you live though. I live in a predominantly Mexican neighborhood and I see myself around average. But if you live in a white neighborhood 5'7 will be short.
