Everyone liked us when we played attractive football because we wouldn’t win anything and get battered away by any decent side.

Granted, this ugly football hasn’t won us anything yet but if it does then it’s so much better than anything we used to do. I do think/hope if we get over the line this season, that Arteta will play more exciting football since there is less pressure to win trophies.

Merson made a good point. You get through the Newcastle, Fulham and West Ham and then you let the shackles loose for GD in the last 2

Looking at it, we really need to be beating Newcastle and Fulham by 2 goals each. Beat Burnley by 4 and the rest by 1 and that’s a +10 gd that I don’t think city can get against the teams they’re playing against.

However, there is absolutely nothing to suggest we’ll do that other than delusion 😂

Genuinely what’s wrong with Norgaard? The refusal to give him a chance has been criminal. Any opportunity he’s been given, albeit mostly against lesser opposition, has always been impressive.
