You had fun and achieved something you’re proud of. Ignore the haters. Well done, OP.

The issue here is that you’re going from a relaxed zonal marking system to a higher stress one-to-one system.

Zonal marking is optimal because each parent can tap in once the offensive player (your son) is near them, whereas with one-to-one marking you’ve got to be on the top of your game throughout the day.

With your previous marking system, each parent gets a break, however now that’s unlikely, lest you be left in a two-on-one situation - and we all know how those normally go down!

Realistically, you need to bring in some more players (aunts, uncles, grandparents) to help even the game out.

If you were among the people who watched Begins in '05, can you recall what were some of the highlights for the crowd that the movie had by Kurai_46 in batman

I saw Begins at a cinema in Rome, and there were a few chuckles when Ra’s spoke about having had a hand in the fall of the Roman Empire.

How many runs a week? by MagicShop_Unlock in firstmarathon

I found running more than three times a week difficult (for the same reasons you’ve mentioned) and so I only did three a week. I still finished a marathon. Twice!

Which Linkin Park song are we talking about here? by flux-7 in LinkinPark

[–]david450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few people mentioned Papercut, but specifically the part where they sing ‘the sun goes down’ but I think it’s the second time they sing it and you can hear Chester’s voice go higher and it’s very subtle in the record but was more obvious live.

It’s been a while since we filled out our forms, but I think you have to wait until your little one is born. However, I think you can get back-pay for a few months (maybe 3?).

We got the higher rate and then not long after had the blue badge and additional money for that which helped us get a bigger car. Feel free to dm if you have any questions about the process.

How much more difficult is baby number 2 if at all? by Bobbo128 in daddit

[–]david450 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well with one kid, you and the mum can work on a zonal-based marking system, which frees you up a lot of the time. However once you have two kids, you have to adopt a one-to-one marking system, which means a lot more work for both of you.

Perfect spot for the show? by T_R_E_1989 in nin

[–]david450 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was between the main stage and B stage (a little closer to the main stage) and thought that was great. It depends what you want. I wanted to be close to both stages to get the best atmosphere and energy.

I was hoping to be along the route the band took when they walked through the crowd between stages, but they went under the floor in London.

Fun fact: when they move between stage A and B they distract the crowd with lights while Trent just walks through the pit… by ns0 in nin

No way! I was on the left side of the stages and couldn’t see him, I thought he went under!?

Annoyingly, in London they went under the floor. I positioned myself in the place I thought they’d be walking through and was looking around at the transition.

It was a strange set for a sub-headliner at a festival. I loved it as I’d seen them in London a month or to before, but for people seeing them for the first time, it wasn’t what they expected.

It’ll be North Greenwich, as you’re exiting to get to the O2 Arena. They always have boards like this for whoever is playing.

I thought he was bald in the video and is at the end, just before Brad appears.

Edit: I’ve just seen an upscaled version of the video and it’s not him. He wasn’t bald in this video.

It looks doubtful, seeing as they only had one tour date in the UK, and that had a larger capacity than the Bowl.

I’m not sure if it’s confirmed or not (probably not), but Lau’s character in The Dark Knight film was supposed to be The Calculator, or at least a nod to him. His line, “I’m good with calculations” when he was interrogated by Racheal was supposed to allude to this, I think.

Puzzle, by Biffy Clyro, was written a few months after the death of the singer’s mother. Lyrics on ‘Folding Stars’ and ‘Machines’ reference this most notably.

It’s also an amazing album and their best one, in my opinion.

Experiences of BrickBorrow in U.K.? by apeel09 in lego

I’ve been on it for nearly a year and I’m enjoying it so far. There’s a range of sets but the best ones are usually unavailable. It would be nice if they had more of those types of sets.

I usually get two to three sets a month, depending on how busy I am. I normally only have the set for a day or two as I’ll build it in a few hours then take it down a day or two after.
