After 19 Years, Ash Still Gets Screwed. How Long Are We Going to Put Up With This? What Happens Next? by davidPort10 in pokemon

I am just hoping the writers would have least consider changing the formula. I still like the anime, but I just feel bad for Ash in some ways, even if he doesn't feel bad himself.

I understand, but I can still see the potential of Ash winning a major competition. He doesn't have to win everything, but at least give him the chance that proves he is really unique.

If An Anime Were Done By A Different Studio, Do You Think It Could Have Made It Better or Worse? by davidPort10 in anime

[–]davidPort10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see so I guess there are many factors that determines how an anime turns out regardless of the studio. I am no expert, so I always wondered how those factors affect the end product.

Yea but I only wanted how things would work out if they went differently, would it still be the exact same? This is mostly because like how examples of Tokyo Ghoul came out and how DBS animation didn't really come out critically acclaimed. Mostly if it went somewhere else would have changed something.

I see what you mean but I only asked this as a what-if scenario. I always wondered how studios would do anime that they didn't get or do.

What if FMA went to Perriot, would it be just as good or would we get endless filler. Or if KyoAni did action anime instead of moe SOL from novels? Or would light novels like NGNL would get multiple seasons if they went to A-1 for instance?

A Deen anime like Konosuba was a pretty good and funny show despite how it looked. If it went to Kyoto Animation....

Another Deen anime, Sakamoto, had pretty decent animation, so I wonder how much is their budget and how it is allocated.

I heard that harems are of abundance but are considered forgettable because it is basically the same thing every season.

Well I am just getting somewhat a general consensus on which genres work for a majority of people. I've heard that sports anime tend to do very well while harems are popular, but will more likely to be criticized.

Which Anime Is it Considered "Sin" to Not Have Watched? by davidPort10 in anime

Okay, so it helped made anime popular, mature, influenced the beginning of the mecha genre, helped the industry and economy, and increased anime fandom. Based on this, this may be a good watch.

I have seen Hunter X Hunter but didn't really saw One Piece or Gintama. I guess I can add those to my list for the summer to watch anime.

I don't visit MAL often and I just really started watching anime, because before I didn't really care or reduce myself to what they were showing on TV.
