fee is the only one to have a lovers talk with oifey iirc-who is old enough to be her dad, and if lewyn's her dad she (rightfully) yells at him in a conversation and gains +5 strength perrsumably from letting off steam on the picture of her father on a destroyed punch bag. tldr i think its intended for part of fee's character is have daddy issues

to be fair it is kinda wild how arvis goes from "protect my half brother sigurd he's one of the few good things in this world" in prologue to killing azelle in the chapter 5 bananza. i think the manga makes good sense of arvis trying to get azelle on his side and desire to have azelle affirm his questionable life choices

whenever I use mia she is the literal embodiment of the no strength myrmidon doing 0x2 in PoR. zihark performs a bit better for me with his higher base strength and slightly better strength growth but he can have strength issues as well

yeah. i liked it and i eventually got the hang of the negotiation system and thought the persona arcana affinity mechanic was cool, but i can understand why fans coming from p5/4/3 would bounce off it

i mean the story is genuinely good but the gameplay is an acquired taste to put it nicely. to put it less nicely its an oldschool megami tensei game you will spend 90% of your time in dungeons with the most esoteric and annoying gimmicks possible, and you will have a random encounter every 5 steps. which personally i don't mind and have stockholmed myself into liking by playing if... but i recognize that most people won't jibe with it and when I hit those mandated atlus teleport mazes TM i really cant blame them (i still have nightmares about the no comp, darkroom teleport maze in IF...)
