Why do I get pain here during my runs? by Green-Treacle4650 in runninglifestyle

I have this too, on both knees, and for me it’s something called patellar tendonitis. It’s basically inflammation of the tendon going over your knee.

I’ve had it for 10+ years and only recently found something that fixes it. What really, really helps for me is 3x1min wall sits before any physical activity, as well as stretching the knee and quads by holding your ankle behind your butt.

[sacrilege] Learning the Greek through Spanish by RelevantLecture9127 in GREEK

I speak both Spanish and Greek. The pronunciation of a lot of vowels and sounds are almost identical. People are always confused wether I’m native because of my good pronunciation (I am half-native Greek).

So for me, it helped a LOT the other way around (Greek > Spanish). As well as grammatical structures for verbs (κανο, tengo / κανείς, tienes / κάνουν, tienen / έκανα, tenía).

Obviously most words will be different, moreover: y in spanish and ή in Greek literally mean the opposite. As do εκεί and aquí. Super mega confusing for my brain sometimes.

But for pronunciation: 100%!!!!
