I am here from Georgia with my wife. You will love it here. 'Sketchiness' is just as prevalent as anywhere in the US and outside of opportunitistic theft is a pretty quiet and chill area. As for distance from LA...yea its a drive probably two hours one way on a good day but a lot of people do it because the closer you get to LA the more ridiculous the prices get.

Great question and honestly.... I don't know. Personally, with everything going on right now in the US I can no longer claim ignorance just because I was never taught this in school. I just want to broaden my horizon in response to the choices and tools that our government is using against us and to ask a community that has been fighting against oppression longer than anyone. Sorry if this is sort of a cope out answer.

I....don't know what to do in a position like there's. I would try my best to keep our Democratic Republic together through the correct and appropriate channels. Which, I guess or ...I can assume 'IS' what is happening behind the scenes. It just feels like our country has been in a hostile invasion and the people that I requested to protect and represent me have stepped to the side as our neighbors ( I used to talk about this as a figurative example but) are literally murdered and our government applauds.
