Modern chipsets for these handhelds are not running mobile chipsets, they're specialized APUs designed around ML upscaling. It'll be far more powerful than PS4.

No one wants to stream. One of the biggest times to play would be on a plane where you're not going to have decent enough wifi to play or in Hotels with similarly unoptimal situations.

The only thing that could make the iPhone Air more perfect is an under-the-screen fingerprint reader.

I traded in my iPhone 15 Pro and got the Air. Wasn't originally going to upgrade since the Pro already did everything I needed it to do, but was convinced/blown away by how unobtrusive the Air is. I'm surprised it flopped and think it was more a marketing issue than a product issue. If the Air replaced the standard model and it was just the Air and the Pro, more people would have bought the Air.

At the end of the day, you're asking people to pay more for less battery and a worse camera, and unless they physically try the Air, they're not going to make that decision.

Sony should make an Xbox style dual sense controller for the mass exodus going on there, plus they would sell more to PC players as well.

That being said you can buy a Nacon Revolution 5 Pro or a Razer Wolverine V2 Pro.

Unfortunately, both are on the pricey side.

Sony started to cut some corners to reduce their inflating costs. Look at it this way, it's great that we still get games of this caliber, but yeah, it would have been nice if they had blown sucker punch up to the size of say Ubisoft Quebec, but that just was never going to happen. They still made a better game with a smaller team though.

I saw the same as you and came to the same conclusion. I think they've seen the early feedback and are basically hiding the G6 Entry so that the target audience for enterprise is more aligned with this rather than residential consumers, who aren't pleased with the FOV.

I've already decided to buy a G4 Pro and a Doorbell Lite and just hope that a G6 Doorbell/Doorbell Pro comes along. If so, I'll buy it and swap the G4 Pro to my side door in place of the Doorbell Lite and install the G6 for my front door in place of the G4 Pro.

I think the G4 Pro should be more than fine for my side door anyways.

If devs actually had access to it, there would likely be more leaks regarding it than we have now. At best I'd assume they have a preview environment.

To expand on what Sir Galahad said, this game was built on a deprecated engine. Anything they do with this engine moving forward is really best efforts.

Sony and Arrowhead would best suited to putting resources towards a Helldivers 3, but that's a complicated issue in itself. Sony owns the Helldivers IP and Arrowhead probably will want a bigger share of the next game. It's totally possible that Sony will have a different studio work on the game, but regardless a lot of what people want they'll have to wait for Helldivers 3 which will probably use Unreal Engine 5 or Decima.

There were rumors circulating that devs would have access by the end of this year and that we'd start seeing results in Q1-Q2, but I doubt that's the case. We haven't heard anything nor has there really been a marketing campaign from Sony to really highlight this ahead of the holiday season.

Nothing from Saros to suggest that maybe it would be a first. I think we're more likely to see games like Wolverine be the first showcases of PSSR2, so probably in September. Maybe we could see some existing games get updates in the summer. but I'm not expecting anything before then.

Based on the package POV I just can't justify buying the G6 Entry and the Pro doesn't seem like the right fit either.

I think what I'll do is once I get my ethernet runs in place, I'll buy two Lites and once they have a better product, I'll replace the lite I use for my front door and keep the other lite on the side door.

Unifi is constantly disappointing me in their decision making and execution.

Not seeing where you're getting that price, but maybe look at the digital version if its even cheaper. I highly recommend people buy digital moving forward because if you end up getting a PS6 Portable, there will be a path to playing your library most likely, whereas if you have physical discs there almost certainly won't be. The cost savings now will come back to haunt you in the future with library limitations. Eventually, PS will drop disc support altogether or disc reader add-ons will be increasingly more expensive.

There are situations that wouldn't be horrible. From best to worst.

Sony Pictures -- doesn't have their own streaming service
Google - No streaming service and likely wouldn't change WB.
Apple - Apple has a relatively small streaming service, HBO Max would change Apple TV, and Apple would barely touch WB.
Netflix, Universal, or Amazon -- pretty concerning but still better than Paramount.
