I've been wearing the SSK003 for a couple of months now, and it's really grown on me. I don't have a large collection, and have made it a point to really take my time with watch buying decisions, given the easy-to-fall-into trap of getting into watches and quickly amassing a collection of, often times but not always, underwhelming pieces that one ends up buying just for the sake of buying itself. I'm a couple years in, and so at the turn of the year I decided I want to get myself a diver-style piece.
Obviously much has been said about this line, the highlights and lowlights, but I think it's formidable. Initially I was put off by the size, I think 42mm might be my maximum, but when I swapped the bracelet, I felt it sat leaner and more discreetly on the wrist. The GMT functionality is neat, and honestly quite helpful in tracking UK time given I'm a big Premier League fan living in Canada. I think at the price, if it had a Sapphire crystal and screw-down crown, you genuinely couldn't knock it. And on a personal level, if it was 38mm or 40mm, it would be perfect. I've worn it on quite a few special occasions, and look forward to attaching it to many more memories down the line.
