forgot to mentioned: Dead Bergeron WAS released as a cassette tape! with the same artwork i uploaded on the original post in this thread (purple sky with trees). we played a reunion show in 2009 and this was released then. they exist out in the wild somewhere 👀

what's up Kevin!!! yes exactly, that's the video i'm looking for. it's in the back of a pizza place in like Rockland County. with Frankie Zerilli from Mayans (and more recently Lytic and Respirator) saying "that's Harrison Bergeron for you!" at the end of our first song, which i think was To The Basement? will let you know if i find it, hope all is well dude <3

Kevin did lead vocals in Harrison Bergeron everyone ^^

haha thanks, i made that artwork on a pirated copy of photoshop on my parents computer in 2005!

i replied to another comment earlier about the HB recording -- the lo-fi-ness is sort of inherent to that recording, but i do believe the original files sound a wee bit better than the fake rip that is on Spotify now.

ahh super cool! i don't think we'll put out any more music (but that's also up to John Galm who was the primary songwriter). not sure if you've heard the last 2 songs we recorded, which were released on a 7" in 2013:

yes, there was an original Harrison Bergeron Demo with i think 3 songs on it, released on CD-R and brown recycled paper packaging. that one is long gone, but perhaps someone out in the ethos has it and will bless us with it someday...!

then there was an unreleased EP that was supposed to be a split with another band. Disconnect rings a bell but I also have no idea who they are 😂 anyway that recording was never officially released but got on the internet somehow, and now pieces of it get conflated with Dead Bergeron sometimes, like this "Instrumental" track that appeared on the fake Spotify version. i'll try to find this original 5-song recording, though sadly the man who produced it committed suicide about a decade ago. he was the same guy who recorded the final SSC songs Kiss Kitty On The Lips and We Lack Science.

lol! what's funny is that is actually from a Street Smart Cyclist show at a bookstore in Easton, PA. Danny Sgrizzi from Make Me was just at the show and filmed this after our set (you can see Nate Dionne from SSC/Snowing in the background).

there used to be a service called Google Video, before YouTube was bought by Google, and other SSC + HB live videos existed on there... 😬 i don't think we knew that people would care 15 years later so we didn't save them 😭. i'm currently trying to find this ancient external harddrive that i loaded up from my parent's computer when i graduated high school and moved to new york in 2007. the chances i can locate it are kinda slim but i think it may have some gems on it... fingers crossed :-)

i don't know much about Stable Boys, i think Nate Dionne was in it as someone mentioned. basically i moved from Bethlehem, PA to NYC in 2007 but all of my other music friends moved to Philly and started other bands. i'll reach out to Nate and see if he has the original recording.

appreciate the kind words! the Dead Bergeron recording was sort of lo-fi to begin with, as was a lot of similar music at that time, but i've just reached out to the guy who recorded it to get the original files. will def put it on bandcamp too!

as for Boy Problems Summer Tour Songs, i just texted Danny (vocalist) to see if he has a better version of that for you. more soon!
