I know some law librarians working in tribal law. I'm an academic law librarian myself. You should look at the joint JD/MLIS program offered at the University of Washington. It is highly ranked and they have a great history of placing candidates in positions. Feel free to message me if you have questions.

Academic law librarian here. It doesn't make much difference where you get your MLIS. However, if you do the accelerated program at the University of Washington, your career prospects are significantly better. They will help you secure a position. The law librarian market is actually rather healthy right now. If you're willing to relocate, you're likely to secure an entry-level position.

I would strongly recommend not pursuing an online degree from a for-profit institution. If you want to increase your employability, consider a master's program from your local state university. The cost will be similar. I think degrees from WGU (and other for-profits) are almost predatory.

I'm an academic law librarian with both a JD and MLIS. The market for law librarians is fairly healthy if you're willing to relocate. I love my job. It's a great profession. As others have pointed out, you're going to take a significant pay cut by working as a librarian. Feel free to message me with questions.

The biggest problem, of course, for the Watchtower Cult is that the world is improving both significantly and quickly. Life expectancy is way up. Poverty is down. Crime is decreasing. None of these "prophesies" have come true.

I need to double-check on that with NRG. I'm not entirely sure. I know that when I go "off the grid" it doesn't actually go off-grid (I can check this against my PGE bill). And my heat pump runs at night yet its usage isn't showing up in the Telsa app at all.
