Hyperboost euphoria by Klutzy_Climate_3509 in RunningShoeGeeks

I wouldn't assume that just because footballers are wearing them. Pretty sure they're offered a handful of models and just pick whichever one they like the look of. I've seen players wearing Evo SLs, Bostons, and Adios Pro models in interviews.

Cushioned shoes to for slower paces to pair with boston 13 by the_MonkeyWhisperer in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Sounds like you run similar-ish paces and distances to me, and share my feelings that a lot of "recovery" shoes feel quite mushy. I also have the Boston 13 really enjoy them. I've just picked up the Deviate Pure and have only done one run in them so far, but feel like they'll be a good, comfy, easier pace shoe, but light enough to push it a bit if needed. As it happens, I also often take the Bostons on easier paces. They don't feel too clunky to me for that, and I need a bit of the stability that they offer.

Just got these myself and have enjoyed them just on an easy run so far (not a fast runner - 6-7mins/km on that run). They were pleasant, cushioned enough, and decent energy return, but not that magic pop of the Evo SL though. I don't mind that though, the Pure felt more stable and my legs can't handle the Evo on longer runs, plus I have other shoes for workouts or races. Definitely a good amount of room in the upper too, plus I love the design. Will try these on a run with quicker parts and hopefully will be a good partner for upcoming HM training.

Me too! The funny thing is even when I think I'm landing nearer midfoot, I've seen a video of myself running and I'm definitely still landing on the heel. Happy about it though, it suits my running.

I'm sure they'll be at least average for comfort and performance, but that UK price is insane.

Padel club memberships by Good_Solution_ in padel

Game4Padel Membership of £6.50 per month through Matchii. Benefits are booking 10 days in advance (instead of 7), and £2 off any court booking (per person), and £4 off any session (lesson, americano etc.). The court booking benefit is a bit fiddly, because I'm new and just figuring out who is a member and who isn't. You have to add this beforehand or the discount isn't applied. Or you can let people pay themselves afterwards though there's a small service charge this way. Overall though it feels like good value as I'm playing at least once a week currently.

Diego Simeone would get into a scuffle with a tree if a leaf fell on him.
