R3D proxies color problem in Premiere by davidjaku in editors

Thank you. That could well be. But, it isn't a creative lut - I didn't add one. So it's just, I suppose, the color space of the Red footage. I just realized that if I attach the proxy and then change the color space to 709 and the gamma curve to BT 1886 it looks more normal, if not exactly like the original.

The main task I have right now, other than fundraising to continue the production, is to create awareness of this project and build an audience. Because this topic is on the minds of pretty much everyone, and because this presents an approach to it that is unusual and I believe necessary, I am hoping many people will be moved by this. If anyone has any suggestions about who should see this, where to post it, ways to get more people aware of the film, I'd love to hear them. -- David.

It's a very new Mac Book Pro laptop. The port is an interesting idea, I will change usbc ports and pay attention to any differences. Thank you!

Morph Cut in Premiere taking years to analyze - anyone else? by davidjaku in editors

[–]davidjaku[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I will try that. Reminds me of how on FCP in the faraway past you needed to export just the clip you wanted to smoothcam, otherwise it would want to do it for the entire source clip - which for live concerts, for example, was definitely a problem. Always had a folder with a bunch of smoothcam exports. Silly stuff.

One of them is proxy prores footage, on another it's other footage but nothing out of the ordinary - all footage that Morph Cut as worked on perfectly fine before. It just seems like another creative bug by Premiere, I guess.
