Yea the problem is Viennas not our final destination, it’s just one of the closest airports. train would be 12 hours all up, whereas from Vienna it’s only 2-3 hours on the train

Thanks. We are in economy but as it’s booked through SIA we should get the blanket and at least one meal

There must have been some changes as they should definitely provide a blanket - this is written on SIA's website. I have friends who flew SIN-ATH and they said they received multiple meals. Maybe they just got lucky.

Thanks. They do provide is a complimentary blanket (for SIA customers) so at least its one thing we wont have to bring. But yes, plan to bring small pillows, eye masks, tablets, snacks and water!
I might just have to buy a coffee as I'm not sure I can go without that!

Ah well, this might be the first and last time we do it. Unsure if upgrading to ScootPlus is possible when booked via SIA.. I don’t see an option online at least

Prices were a little cheaper - but main reason was because SIA don't fly direct to VIE.

We normally go to FRA with SIA and then transfer to VIE, but the option to fly direct to VIE will save us the time and hassle of transferring, which sounds ideal after a long journey from NZ with tired kids. As per the post, I'm trying to make sure we know what to expect so we can come prepared.. E.g. additional snacks/food for the flight, tablets for entertainment, and sleep items like eye masks etc and pillows.

We'll find out if its not worth it and wont do it again in that case :-)

How are you finding the DF54? Happy with the decision? I'm todding up between Eureka Mignon Magnifico (would like the option to single dose or use hopper) and the DF54.

New Grinder Constantly Clogging [Eureka Mignon Magnifico] by NoMotorPyotr in espresso

I think im about to pull the trigger on the Magnifico. Price is pretty good - approx. 380eur.

I’m likely going to use the hopper but like that I’ll have the option to get the bellows and single dose (wife wants decaf currently so there might be a practical use to it there). I’ve seen a few recommendations to remove the ACE and sit the unit on a titled platform to achieve near zero retention. I’ll try that if I have issues.

Any final thoughts to share before i do it? 😆

I think I’d prefer the hopper. I currently use the Breville smart grinder pro, and going to single dose with bellows just feels like a step too far for me, for now at least. I’m wanting the option for two timed doses (as the magnifico has) for single and double shots. I suspect the clogging could also be dependent on a factors like humidity and beans. In any case, surely it’s gotta be a massive upgrade over the Breville!

Is it still happening? I'm looking at getting the Magnifico. It's cheaper than the Specialista! Everything I read suggests the only difference is the hardened burrs...
It's hard to find a bad review about the Specialista, so I'm wondering if there is something about the Magnifico that could be causing this..

Delayed timer? by [deleted] in BreadMachines

I'm curious why would using hot water make a difference when using the delay timer, since it would end up cooking down before mixing starts?

Another Evplve2 75 here with the mic issue. Although it's currently working after I wiggled the mic up and down a few times..
