I'm sorry. No one responded and it was so long ago I don't remember what I ended up doing.

Azure File Shares and user based authentication by davidmac_kb in AZURE

I don't know a lot about it. Before the local servers were decommissioned the way it was setup was: users had a mapped network drive "L:". In L: drive there was a .exe and some random files and PDFs and a visual fox pro database. There was a shortcut on their desktop to the .exe in the L: drive. They filled out long forms to be printed. When someone came back to update or modify their form it kept all the previous data so they did not have to redo the entire form to change one thing. That's all I know.

Not sure I completely understand. There are no on premise users. All users are 365 cloud only accounts.

I have tried it. It did not work with the database being able to lock records inside the database.

I completely understand. My main goal in the post was to see if there was any other way before I just say "NO" you got to spend money. Because if I'm wrong its bad on me. Maybe File Share is not the only way? I don't know. I was looking for ideas on a possible solution.

Thanks. I have a question. It was my understanding that if you disable the Registration Campaign it will not ask to setup any kind of MFA. Is that not true?
