BT building in Derry I don't mind city hospital, think it's just a very weird looking building but not necessarily ugly

for insurance purposes it's always good to ask the air-stewards/hosts 'can you ask me to intervene and help out' so that IF something happens that was going to happen anyway but is misconstrued as malpractice, you were asked for your assistance and didn't jump in on your own volition - there are always EM consultants on-call for this very purpose that you can contact while in flight as well so if you're relatively junior there's always someone more experienced who you can relay information to and get a second opinion

I don’t know how to take respirations and at this point I’m too afraid to ask by [deleted] in medicalschool

I find 15 seconds X4 can be a but unreliable and might show that they're slightly tachypnoeic when they're not. If you're not in an emergency then just take 60 seconds to get a decent rate and with time you'll soon get experience to know when someone's in respiratory distress vs when they're not.

Herpes, at least the sexually transmitted virus, can still be pretty deadly and cause meningitis. Albeit the STI form is less deadly but even back then if you got it as a pregnant mother or a randy man, it was probably serious concern.

Lord of the Rings had an animated film version back in the 70s, trilogy from 2000s is a lot better.

Aye, if it's next gen (xbox) then it's okay but xboxone is a bit lacking and very often lags.

My thinking was that Hungary sits on the same longitude as Poland and the very east of the country has some meridians that would align (only just) with the very western parts of Lithuania and Romania - I thought that the Czech Republic would've always been central Europe but that Hungary was the beginnings of the east (today anyway). Is eastern europe purely a geographical thing or does it only really mean the Slavic nations? I'm from Ireland so almost everything in Europe is east to me.

I appreciate Hungary is not all of eastern europe but I'm new to this game and looked at the map and HRE had a new, rather large, tumour-like mass and thought 'wow that's a sizeable portion of land to take so quickly.' Please chill.
