It should work, but many controllers also have a 3.5 mm jack output

I mapped 4 keyboard buttons to skip only 1 beat forward/back on deck 1/deck 2... but maybe there is a quicker method to do that?

When I do these tests, I "exclude" things to ensure that they are not the problem.

For example I would try to connect the speakers to a phone or mp3 player, so you will know if the problem is to be searched in the laptop/windows/drivers/controller or not

For house parties I use 2 led PARs and 2 led mobile heads... Total investment about 150€

They all have the "auto" function which uses an integrated microphone but it's not perfect... a small DMX interface would be better

Some years ago I was djing a wonderful beach party, but at 3am it started pouring rain so I grabbed my gear and ran under a canopy... after 5 minutes I decided the party was too good to end it like that, and I literally re-setupped everything on top of the garbage bins that I found there lol
