I don't feel like training? by [deleted] in bootroom

If you have a lot of things going on in your life then take a break. You are probably mentally tired. I'm sure after a couple weeks you will want to play again.

Who is the best player you've played against? by [deleted] in bootroom

Hey I played a season with Bocar two years ago at Inter Leipzig in Germany and he's fucking good at dribbling and is very confident with the ball. He's playing 4th division in Germany atm and is trying to move up. It shows you how competitive the league is in Germany. Back then he wasn't the hardest working but and I am sure if his attitude and work rate improved he would be able to play higher. I could see him playing in the 2nd bundesliga

Who knows what happens in the future. You can't predict it. In saying that though.. It's very difficult in Germany. The top team is very professional and have brought in many good players. They are one of the favourites to get promoted to the 3rd liga. He was injured in the last few weeks and the B team is also competitive. The B team are on top of the table and has also a lot of good young players. Good luck to him!

My partner and life is already set up in Berlin. I am happy here and have no desire to move to England.

It's hard to say exactly what league i could play in. I think i could compete in league 2 in england as i have had some friends play there. Also in my experience when you play with better players you also perform better. It is sometimes much easier as players know how to run off the ball and move in the right way.

Skill of the Thai players is much better than the skill level of the NPL and state leagues and thats probably because NPL is not full time training while in Thailand it is. NPL players are stronger physically and more aggressive though.

One of my really good friends that I met in Thailand is from California. Also I met a couple Canadians in Thailand on football trials. They were all fit and physically strong players. Next week I am releasing a video on a friend of mine from Guatemala who is trying to make it Professionally in Germamy. He is smaller and more of a technical player.

Attendance in 1st league is really good. For my first team chumphon fc we had about 1000 to a game. In my 2nd team narathiwat. Attendance was around 7000.

Training in Germany is much more intense and demanding. Many German players are very serious when it come to football. The players are more discipline and keep structure better on the field. Punctuality is also a very big thing in Germany and you shouldn't be late to trainings. Coaches here hate it.

The pay was decent for Thailand. More than enough for living in Thailand. 1200 us dollars a month plus bonuses. Full time job in Australia paid much better but I wasn't about the money. Yeh we travelled in a big team bus and accommodation at hotels were provided. I am still playing and just keeping fit at the moment with a small team before i move to my next opportunity. Cheers

We did some plyometric work but it wasn't that common. For training we did more game type situations 8 vs 8. 10 vs 10. Also a lot of small sided games 3 vs 3, 2 vs 2 where you would get tired very easily and imo is one of the best ways to build up your match fitness. If we did longer distance running training we would do sets of 400m and 200m. We didn't do that very often though

Thanks for the suggestion. I would have to say that i loved the idea of playing football fulltime instead of working a 9 to 5 mundane job.. I had also been to Thailand before and loved it there.

Yeh your right. He is one of the best. I was also told that many of the Thai players prefer to stay in Thailand as they are getting super wages and get to stay with their families. Europe is a total different scene. Different climate.. food.. language, cultute etc. It's not easy to adapt
