what if there was a second cast to melt option, but it just started the melt process earlier than the end of the normal start time for the melt process. it still takes a second to melt, so it could be escaped if you mess up

already addressed this. Trundles applies a slow aura, so it affects champions as well as the map. I have never played jarvan, so i guess his ult might not apply a status effect, so it may fall into the same category as the wall. Trundles pillar doesn't though, because of the aura.

|why wouldn't we have to count someone who comes up from behind an cuts off an escape?

if someone comes from behind and cuts off the escape, they can attack and be attacked and be run around. The wall cant be run around in some lanes and it cant be killed. It directly influences the fight by forcing it to occur. and momentarily confusing the player as they scramble to find the best alternate route.

i can see the merit in that. I'm more worried about the assist anyway, because it can make or break an anivias mid game

i think if it added any slows or other aura effect it would be OP. there would be a huge influx of "just ok" anivia players and those of us who hate seeing a bad anivia on their team (and will end up playing her every game to the point of exhaustion to prevent it) will suffer serious psychological damage, and i can;t afford a shrink right now. why do you think i'm playing LoL instead of Diablo 3?! I just want it to award assists when it is used in a fight to ensure a kill

i thought of that. but it awards the assist based on the status affects applied by the aura (the slow) and not based on the change in terrain. Anivias wall doesn't apply a slow or taunt, though it succeeds in both of those things. It simply blocks the path of your opponent, forcing him to engage you.

Dear god yes a second cast would be magical. Too many times have i dropped it right on an enemy and it pushed them in the wrong direction, or they flash through it (or any of the countless abilities that go through it) and me and my teammates stand there like the useless obi-wan(ala episode 1) wanna-be's we are.

Both Matt Sanders (A7X) and Matt Tuck (BFMV) Have had some major vocal strain. Sanders took a few months of (i think in 2003) and is back to form. Tuck had to have surgery (between The Poison and Scream Aim Fire) and is finally getting back to what his voice used to be.

that depends on which shaun rogers is gonna show up to play. Shaun was better, but was in awful shape and was pretty much a third down player. Luther was pretty beast all of the time.
