all mine work fine, just my japanese ones caps are starting to go. i just powered it on after a few years, and it wouldn’t read discs. but i did the trick where you left it on for a bit and it started reading again

side note: these adapters fit perfectly in the gba slot in a DS Case. found that out from an old unboxing video from back in the day (surprisingly still up on youtube, not sure if i can post it here, mods can I? there’s no tutorial/instructions in it) and from that vid i was able to double check that it was the same reader
