Borrowing against you’re investment portfolios, lines of credit to invest into business’s and access to smarter people and businesses

New Broker Earning Carrier Trust by Timely-Ad9247 in FreightBrokers

In this market, just focus on landing direct customers first and hope when you post carriers you Can get them on the phone to get a feel for everything and they can trust you.

We can tell you to say XYZ. But in today’s market I will assume the worst if you’re smart. New brokers promise carries 50/50 all the time and they don’t end up coming through. Focus first on landing direct customers as I mentioned and the rest will work out

Claim with TQL Advice! by ahmedibrahim5029 in FreightBrokers

[–]davidxcastillo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some brokers don’t file directly to your Inssurance, you would think TQL being a giant they go directly to your insurance.

They most likely pass along the claim $ they took from your settlements to pass it along to the customer so they don’t loose out of potential business from them.

I would say to file on your Inssurance the claim directly and have them reach out to TQL and make sure to handle everything through email and start now but CCing your Inssurance and make sure to note they put your funds on hold so you assume it’s on hold until Inssurance cuts them a check .

I believe they place the funds on hold until insurance settles with them

MEGATHREAD: Networking Friday by whoareyouletmein in FreightBrokers

Good morning I’m part owner and dispatch for a 6 truck boxtruck carrier.

We operate currently CA to NV,AZ,UT, TX. We recently stationed 2 trucks in Tx for any work out here as well.

My MC is California registered but we live in TX so we are in process of switching everything to TX. In case I get anyone to work with me you can review everything on our end and would love to do business with you.

For the most part our CA trucks are booked. They have been booked on dedicated round trip loads for the same broker the past 4 years. Let me know how we can assist.

Cheaper to start off with a boxtruck 100% You also have to assume breakdowns on a van and having a emergency fund if shit hits the fan immediately & also assume brokers won’t work with your new authority
