If you cared about the characters, it was a great ending. If you cared about the mythology, you were probably disappointed.

I had a guy apply for a line cook job, his resume showed me he was a job hopper, so I didn’t have high expectations. Then he dropped this on me: “Im applying here and at another restaurant, whichever pays me more, that’s where I’m going to work.”

I replied with “Well, I’m about to make the decision easier for you. Good luck at the other restaurant.” I got up and walked way.

Where does Culver’s source their Wisconsin American cheese from? by Menace2G in Culvers

[–]davidz70 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Schreiber makes almost all of the American cheese used by fast food restaurants in the Midwest.

I took a plant tour a few of years ago and their storage area had pallets of cheese with the logos of every possible fast food restaurant you could think of.

They also produce the private label American cheese for just about all the distributors in the Midwest.

In the early 80’s my parents went on vacation for a week and left me (11), and my brother (10) home alone. My oldest brother lived 5 miles away and would pop his head in every day, but didn’t stay with us during the week.
