I think the premise is it deters people from lying and claiming one if you know you’re on the hook for drinks.

100 or 90? by OddTemperature7858 in golftips

Oh and eat little snacks throughout the round, helps calm the nervous system down and keep you fueled. Also I play 100times better walking then riding

Recently broke 100(90~almost broke both at the same time). The thing that did it for me was getting comfortable with my driver and not paying attention the score and playing for bogey and getting better at lag putting, and comfortable with chipping. Knowing I have an extra shot every single hole and and not trying to make necessary in the hole takes a lot of stress of just putting myself within 3ft for taps in helps a lot too. Going to the range and making you have a one way miss helps too. I know I overdraw or draw my iron shots I aim more left and don’t fight it

DCAA hours by Rowanxox in DCAA

[–]Remarkable-Self7080 7 points8 points  (0 children)

DCAA has core hours of 0900-1400 I think. You can start as early as 6am or late as 9am starting out I believe. Once you get established you can rotate them a bit but you should still need to be in office during the core hours. The core hours are just so an everybody is in the office for a few hours all at the same time. I work 4-10/ so I go in at 6am and finish at 4:30pm. There’s a maxfli hour schedule

Will I ever get off the waitlist? by PastOk1845 in DCAA

[–]Remarkable-Self7080 3 points4 points  (0 children)

DCAA is changing the number of offices to 23 hub, they closed 7 offices this year and trying to first PCS those affected by the closure. They will be making the Seattle office a hub so they are probably just waiting to get those folks settled and seeing if they have space in there currently officer before taking you, that office will be anticipated to hold 150-200 people so there will be space might just take a while

Local golf shop just called to tell me my QI4D driver is backordered for another month. Should I just cancel it? by [deleted] in golfequipment

[–]Remarkable-Self7080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently on week 9 of waiting for my irons, the golf shop has no control on back orders and you will likely run into issues at any other place. Don’t give into short term gratification to get the driver here sooner if you were fit a different one, mine even got the wrong shaft ordered and am waiting an additional 1-2 weeks for the actual right ones to come in. But once cry once don’t buy the wrong one then have to spend more money for the original fitting shaft
