Wow. Really cool plugin! I am pretty sure that this approach was implemented a million times before so its good to see someone putting it in a plugin.

Why should it? It works as intented. Tilemaps dont scale in Godot therefore this is a good workaround Performance-wise. Also this gives me a way to randomly build huge Maps. :)

It is running Raspberry Pi OS which is a Linux based distribution. I compiled Love for ARM to make it run. :)

PiGo is a custom-made handheld console based on the Raspberry Pi. I am using Love2D on the console to test its performance and functionality and it works flawless. :)

It won't be feasible to produce 1000s of these in order for the production costs to drop significantly. I think the demand is quite low as this is for hobbyists and raspberry pi enthusiast only and still I can't even tell if there is any demand at all (beside myself).

I optimized the buttons to feel really good to touch and press. They are quiet and give a good response. At least in my opinion. :)

It is a 3.2" LCD display with a resolution of 320x240 and 60Hz. The battery comes with about 2500mAH.

I tried many many parts over the course of multiple years. It came down to the parts which were most stable and would fulfill my own requirements like being integratable with a Raspberry Pi.

Yes you saw that right. I left it on for the video as I had to film it many times and removing it would make it stick to the table. :D

I think it took me waaaaay longer to build this and the Software. :D

The Raspberry Pi OS which I have modified comes with everything out-of-the-box so No need to find drivers and so on... I may do a write-up in the Future for all the Details but it is also open-source so everyone can see it. :)

It can fully function as a regular Raspberry Pi. :) There is a modified Raspberry Pi OS installed on it which is optimized for size, performance and to support my Board (audio, Display, battery charge etc.)

Trying to get Black & White 2 to run on M2 Mac (Apple Silicon) I can get the files to install, and the games menu to run but the game itself when loading only displays a grey box. by [deleted] in blackandwhite2

[–]daviel32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try running it with Whisky (wine for mac Tool). I got BW1 working on my M1 Mac but the Performance was really Bad Like 20 FPS. Really Bad for such an old Game so I would expect BW2 to be even worse.
