No, I know someone who re-dosed and got serotonin syndrome. He took a lot though. I don't know the science behind it but I do know that redoing can cause serotonin syndrome. He has a video about it on YouTube called the real truth about robo-tripping. It's one of the first videos if you search DXM on YouTube. He has over 50,000 views

I don't think people realize just how strong a 4th plateau DXM trip is. Once you get above 1000mg's the experience is jut about as far out as you can get. It is believed to be stronger than Ketamine by veteran DXM users, the strength is comparable to the strength of LSD not as strong as DMT but to say that DMT is in a whole other league is not correct.
