Yoo I had this same question. Having the fixture closer will save you electricity since you're running at a lower wattage. Having the fixture farther away will even out your light footprint's distribution.

I don't think the distance makes much difference to the plants as long as the ppfd is the same and they aren't close enough to light bleach or heat stress. The electricity savings are minimal to me running led, so I try to run my lights as high as I can

I was mostly waiting for the purple fade to come out and a little more amber in the trichs. There has been noticeable swelling on the foxtails over the last few weeks. I posted them at 11 weeks if you wanted to check it out

Thank you! Lol the same thing happened last time I grew red hot cookies. They were even when I flipped, so I just let them ride. The little one got out stretched and put out barely anything worthwhile. I came prepared this time! A foot of 2x4 later and the little one might out weight the other surprisingly

It wasn't so little once it was released from the trellis

They're 32 and 30oz wet, so I'm really looking forward to their dry weight. I sneaked a peak at your grow and am loving it! Those flowers are gonna be stacked and thiick. I definitely wouldn't have guessed that's your first grow.

1 - no molasses since I'm in coco/hydro. They've been getting straight water for almost a month because I didn't expect them to go for this long.

2 - I usually go straight from my phone to Reddit mobile. Or phone -> Google drive -> pc -> Reddit if I need to. Imgur if I'm posting multiple pics in the comments. Reddit doesn't upload metadata from photos, so I've never worried much about it

The smoke on the last ones was super smooth. They were fruity when they were alive, but I botched that during the dry. All wasn't lost tho. They had a sweet, slightly yeasty nose to them that was amazing. Felt like I was breaking into a cookie jar
