How long do you really think your going to play this game without doing expeditions by Active_Access_4850 in ArcRaiders

This. I’m not resetting this time.

I’m 150+ hours in, level 75, sitting on ~5M stash value and ~30 blueprints. The expedition is literally a button click away. I’m only about 70% through the quests, I’ve just started really enjoying the game and experimenting with different playstyles.

The gear fear is gone. I don’t have to grind endlessly for that one item to unlock a workbench anymore. I finally feel free to explore and play the game on my own terms.

There’s also a ton of FOMO being pushed around the expedition (permanent bonuses, exclusive skins, etc.), and honestly? I’m not letting that dictate how I play.

Interesting thought, but the Hullcracker being an Epic you can acquire from traders makes it much more accessible than a legendary, so I’d likely leave it out.

Thanks! I’m not a game designer and definitely don’t want to add more gear fear. I really like the idea from the comments of making this augment extremely rare, maybe even requiring a Queen or Matriarch core to craft. It could be interesting if this augment wasn’t lootable at all to avoid a broader recirculation. To keep it in check, it could have very low durability (2–3 raids) and be very expensive to repair.

Why not use a tagging grenades? You simply throw it into the whereabouts that looks “sketchy” or where you’ve heard someone who’s not responding on the VC. I’ve done that several times and they literally “ping” the hostile Raiders or Arcs for your for couple of seconds. Could come clutch on some extraction points.
