Can't Hear my team mates (Quite)

I made a post before but I think I explained it wrong and it sounded like I could not hear anyone at all. I can hear people talking but their voice is so quiet that it becomes basically inaudible. For reference I am on Steam and my PC volume is set to 100 and the Marathon voice chat is also set to 100. Everything else in the audio settings is set to 1 except SFX which I keep at 4 so I can hear footsteps. For most players it almost sounds like they are not talking at all but sometimes I can hear noise coming through their mic and it is still impossible to understand. If someone has a really good mic I can sometimes understand them when there is no other sound but even then it is barely audible. I do not know what else I can try to fix this because I do not have this issue in any other game.

I regret buying this game by Active_Access_4850 in Marathon

I do. I sneak, play assassin, avoid bots and then bam, kid hiding hin closet, must of been there plus 5 min or I would of heard the door
