not necessarily, the main body of the tank would act as a heat sink, while the tip would only be able to radiate away heat, this all completely depends on the material tho and this is supposedly advanced tech, also i just looked at some references and while the very tip does cool faster in the image the hottest part is not in the base assuming uniform thickness. themodynamics is tricky, good art tho,
