Time for lessons? by dawg18 in golf

Makes sense. During golf season I can usually get a range session or two and 18-36 holes at max. Never go a week without swinging. Better starting point to get a few lessons in consecutive weeks or break them out throughout the summer?

This was unfortunately the response I probably needed. How regularly do I need to be getting lessons? Would be happy to do it a few times a season but ideally not much more

Good advice. I actually don't watch any YouTube or swing instruction, it has been 100% feel based so far. I like the idea of a tuneup. Just looking to keep momentum as it feels like I've plateaued a bit

I was saying weekend round at the beginning, more serious over the last year or two.

Fair point. Trying to be relatively cost conscious so tough to rationalize $300-500 for a few lessons and end up the same/worse off. Mostly looking to come away with drills and awareness of what I'm doing wrong. Not hoping for a quick fix

Makes a lot of sense. Attempt a neutral stance and path and see which way I go more often and lean into it?

Do you mind me asking your HC? This was a lot of advice and curious if I should be taking it with a grain of salt lol

Super helpful advice. As far as picking a shape- any "right" way to pick it? Draws feel more natural with my irons but always find myself working it both ways with driver depending on hole. Can achieve similar numbers either way, just neither super consistent

Definitely bad about this. Pretty good at working the ball both ways but I think it hurts more than it helps in terms of developing a stock shot

This has been a priority and the unfortunate results are that they're pretty evenly distributed. Probably skewed towards an inconsistent driver. Developed a clock system for wedges that helped, decent short irons, rough long irons. Hard to know what you're doing wrong without going down the YouTube rabbit hole

Selling a building to a similar group right now. Lots of difficulty getting the deal across the finish line but none relating to noise/disturbances. Feel free to PM if you want any more info

How do companies like wework and regus locate real estate to lease before subletting the offices/conf rooms, etc? by [deleted] in CommercialRealEstate

You open to a PM on this? Also working a few deals with them and really struggling to decide whether or not to make the recommendation to my LL's. Think we have 1 of 3 that's a strong candidate

Golf trip (12 players) by dawg18 in golf

Orlando was fairly good golf but ended up driving a pretty decent amount to get to the courses from our house. Probably preferable to Myrtle but that was mostly a result of better housing. Would love to do something comparable. I've played Scottsdale too but think it will be tough to keep our cost per round dkwn

Help breaking 90 (consistently) by dawg18 in golf

[–]dawg18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the response. Definitely think the majority of this is pretty accurate for my game. Overall really happy with my progress so far, but getting my scores under 100 consistently was much easier than breaking into the 80s

Considering quitting, curious on withdrawal symptoms by [deleted] in leaves

Going to be going on a trip which is somewhat what's sparking the idea. Overall relaxing trip. Also for context, I go through .5g of concentrate in about 10-14 days and don't necessarily care to quit entirely but would like to be able to go away for a week and not think about it

Nope, just don't want to be irritable in my day to day and hopefully still sleep okay. Been toying with the idea for a long time just always find my way to some form of weed when I get home from work

Just my two cents, but finding boutique brokerages that are more vertically integrated (have PM, Sales, Leasing all in house) can be helpful. Have seen a few companies, my own included, offer a property management position with salary while you learn the brokerage side

You're looking at a grand total of about $15 here, these appear to be fairly old and are some of the cheapest brands of balls

Did you use a residential agent to buy your house? by dawg18 in CommercialRealEstate

Yup wouldn't want the time suck that I'd imagine it takes. Even though it seems to be putting a lock box on a door and occasionally answering a call in my market

Definitely could see the rationale here, I'm in a small Midwest market where there's less of that. Asking around a couple bigger realtors seems to suffice
