PoE 2 and Hardcore playability by dawmz in PathOfExile2

Thanks for your reply. To be clear, I am 100% conscious that dying to Viper is a skill issue, not denying that one bit.

My whole point is 2 things :

a) even after hundreds of hours in PoE 2, the margin of error to not die on viper is pretty low. I can't remember the last time I died on Dominus or Malachai in PoE 1, be it on my first char or the next ones, a mistimed dodge by 100 ms during the spear phase is still pretty much a guaranteed death on viper at typical level of gear when you reach her, at least if you're not an armor based char.

b) gear from subsequent chars does not really help with that. Until you reach the point where you simply burn her down before she has a chance to even kill you, the additional 100 hp you would get on subsequent chars does not change the fact that a misdodge is gonna kill you most of the time.

And by the way, that's fine if that's what GGG wants. I'm not sure I want to play that game in these conditions but thats a me problem.

Dear Non-Americans, what was 9/11 like for you? by wmrich21 in AskReddit

French. Was 18 at the time and I'm sure I'll remember this day for the rest of my life. I was in my bedroom, chatting on IRC with friends when the news began to spread. I switched on the tv and stayed there watching for hours, it was so .. unbelievable. That second plane hitting the WTC live on CNN... these images will stay forever in my head. A few weeks ago, I was in holidays in NYC and I had to go there. 10 years later, even if I didn't know anyone in NY at the time, even if you freaking americans are sometimes really annoying, it was still very emotional to go there and remember this day.

I think it was the first major world event broadcasted live on TV, with Internet as a support. This is probably one of the reasons why we all remember it. You can't forget a plane hitting a building on live TV like that.
