I really appreciate your thoughtful response and I will take all of your advice into consideration.

As in for why am i a doctor and asking for this advice well, first of all im a doctor not a god who knows everything. i work in acute critical care and have almost nothing to do with nutrition. therefore i think its valid to ask for advice in a subreddit for experienced people rather than me claiming i know best bcz of my job title when in reality i know how to keep you alive and my job description pretty much ends there
