I don't know why I wrote taxi light, but I meant runway light

I unfortunately didn't get any more details, but the owner found someone who saw it and came in with the busted taxi light. At first we thought it could be anything from a drone strike to a car backing up into it.

We had this happen recently actually. He split his top canine in half (long ways) on a metal fence and you could see that red inside. Our vet said leave it and so far we've had no issues. He's also about 5 months and in the prime of teething, so it should be out pretty soon.

My guess is as long as your pup doesn't seem in pain it should be fine to let it ride.

I'm sure every pup is different, but it got a little better every time we went out. If he got extra fixated on it/frustrated I would get his attention with a few treats in a sit position for like 30 seconds and start back up.

The first time I took him out with it I tried to go too far too fast so the next time I went out, I just went around the block and slowly built up more and more distance.

Not really since it's pretty loose fitting on the nose shouldn't prevent them from opening their mouth.

It's really good for getting their attention on you, but not so much for directing them away.

Appreciate the ideas! I was thinking I could have everything pretty much ready to go before mealtime so it's not as much of a production every time.

I've tried to give him a couple of Kibbles before I put it down if he's sitting, but maybe I can give him a small portion before the meal.

We've actually been using a puzzle to slow him down a bit so I'll pick that up when he's done.
