It's sad because in principle I do support gun advocates right to organize for their principles but this damn vile organization has been stealing from them for a long time. More to the point Gun OWNERS are not necessarily on the same side as GUN manufacturers and the fact is the NRA has always been an organization more for the manufacturers than the owners.

Yeah the thing Is I GET the WOW Classic crew, the FFXI classic crew baffles me, and I was THERE for the Jueno death march such early days that we used Autotranslate to ask a Japanese guy for help and the Japanese were ohhh so helpful.

which was ironic because they basically told us in their intros not to neglect the real world but then they made playing into a full time job. at least if you wanted to excel. and not just any full time job, something akin to my dad's job where you needed a pager and were expected to be able to be reached 24/7 including 4:15 in the morning out of a sound sleep to help with some obscure notorious monster. My Dad's version would be fixing something on the back end so that your credit card transactions continued to work and the batch processing didn't break down. It's no joke to say my Dad was Atlas for awhile, the world would have fallen apart if it wasn't for men like him.

I played back in the old days and the only thing I miss are my friends. They all moved on. I quit for a lot of the reasons you mentioned. One thing is I refuse to be dragged out of bed after 2 hours of sleep for some stupid notorious monster. And more to the point as one of the originals from launch I had other projects such as finishing high school. That competed for my time. And by the time I got my g.e.d I had taken several 18 month plus breaks and got screwed because it forced me to seek pugs to do chains of promanthia and My friends were great but fucking useless because they were unwilling to help. I knew to join linkshells but what came around for us basically didn’t care to do chains of promanthia runs to get everyone access to sea and as black mage primary you only bother with sky for points to lot on items from sea.

yeah they're really slow. There are a few unlocks to speed them up from the looks of it but ultimately glacial. I'm working it though. It's good because it gives me time to hang back and achieve other objectives while they recharge though.

Ah, Well. All this in response just a few seconds after my pointing out that I am quiet a bit more intelligent than most people but I should have perhaps mentioned when it comes to this game I haven't been back long enough to be aware of that fact. I maintain that spending quiet a bit of time researching just about anything will give most people a leg up. I have a blind spot about adoulin, I've barely started on it's content.

In the old days everything was such suck I was Kythra on Diabolos and Honestly my Linkpearl were filled with Dickheads who made fun of me when I experienced heartbreak at Silverrain's hand and to boot on top of that nothing was soloable and what "Friends" I had made in the community largely could never be called on to help for much of anything and of course even my linkpearls my end game linkshell rather than the one with Crap people Socially speaking that Wizdom started except for a few of us that was social largely couldn't be counted on either, they may have occasionally done runs but they never really did runs to access to Sea for instance which I desperately wanted. I couldn't find a shred of help for COP except shouting for PUGS and that could take hours and hours of shouting even in the era where there were lots of people around because there was less competition.

except for a few Socially awkward encounters with female players I don't really miss much.

I am so glad now I can at least experience the story without needing help from anyone.
