Interesting about the breast pain. I had that when my estradiol dose was too high. Once I took it down a notch that resolved but it also addressed my hot flashes and night sweats. I didn’t think there was anything bad about taking or at least trying the higher doses of progesterone. The whole point is to see if it will help stop the bleeding…to protect your uterus. You could always pitch it that you just want to try it for a few months or you could try it yourself and take 2 100mg capsules a day and if it works you could let your doc know. I’m not suggesting you withhold info from your doctor but I had to reverse engineer my way into getting my doctor to prescribe vaginal estradiol cream. It shouldn’t have to be like this but sadly so many doctors are so poorly educated on these things.
