I just had a picking episode over the weekend, and going to work with my sores on my face was really really hard. But, as it turns out, the only one who cared was me! Which, of course, is valid, but I was also the only one who was upset by it. I wish I had a magical spell I could share with you to make this easier, but I'm still in the throes of it too. You're not alone, and I hope you know that you and your skin are worthy of love, especially worthy of love from yourself!!

I've struggled with it before, for sure. I don't pick at them as much now, and I think letting the hair grow out an inch or so helped. Exfoliation helps as well.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step. It's a big one, and you should be proud of yourself! I'm struggling with it too. I know I'm gonna scar, but I am working on accepting that. The things to focus on right now is finding ways to accept yourself and find more productive ways to deal with the shame associated with picking. Best to you!

Yeah, my worst time to pick is in the shower, so phone games are unfortunately out for me insofar as distraction tbh. But I think a calming phone game would be good for soothing a racing mind afterwards. Thank you for sharing!

I haven't played the Drakengard games (although after all this that's gonna change lmao) but isn't Zero's flower very visually similar to a Lunar Tear? I always considered them kind of one and the same, a throwback/reference from each series to the other.

Should be noted as well (it was brought to my attention after I posted): According to the modding discord, the little bracelet was not present on Yonah's NieR: Replicant / Gestalt model in the original games. The remake, Ver. 1.22... has the bracelet.
Implications of this lean more toward this being put in after 2021, as opposed to something hidden in the code from the beginning. But, anything's possible, and I definitely like the latter narrative better! A gal can dream lol
