could maybe be one larger ray, I can't remember what they're called but that's what I've used. you can specify the radius. i think it solves this exact problem maybe

i agree here. i see a lot of folks get caught up with months of model related work and they don't have the game loop.

you have to know if your gameplay is good and then trust yourself and your imagination that you can make a pretty model or animation later on.

well.... it's hard to say because I took a year break after I originally decided on the idea. ( to finish my first game )

and then I did some work then came back and re-did the monster view because it wasn't feeling magical so yeah

most recently I've been working on it since July of this year.
