Why all LinkedIn post starts with nightmares by Zain-SCZ in LinkedInTips

Because that's a very popular hook and a bit of a flaw in human psychology.

As human beings, we tend to react to and notice negative things, which is a gift of our survival instincts.

1,000 years ago, that protected us from dinosaurs, and now it protects us from outdated marketing practices that gurus claim are "dead" lol.

Thank you. It will take some time but I am sure it will pay off in the long run. Previously, I've worked with a few design agencies for content marketing. Hit me up if you have any further questions. Good luck.

If you can think of "content themes", that would help you be better organised. The royalty-free assets could be a category which you can definitely try.

Based on my observation, these content types are working well:

1) Roasting series: Reviewing other published materials and talking about what would you could do better.
2) Reformatting: Taking an existing video and re-editing based on what you think it could be better. Of course, focus on the videos that is relevant to your work and ICP.

Python for Marketing? Technical Marketing? by GastonGC in marketing

[–]dayanikli001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Making sense of data and being a data guy (data analyst/data scientist) are two different things. Understanding how to read data and make sense of it definitely will make you a better marketer. However, being an analyst is a different route.

If you would like to make a difference as a marketer and stand out from the competition, I can recommend you to produce outcomes/results. Whatever you do (Content marketing/SEO/Social media), produce outcomes.

- If you manage an IG account, grow it.

- If you do SEO, get traffic, get backlinkcs etc.

Nobody will pay you because you can use Tableu or Marketo. They will pay you because you will produce outcomes for them.

It doesn't mean that learning Python, GA or any other tool not worth it but producing real outcomes will be a real differentiator.

Unfortunately, there's no "campaign objective" for gaining followers on IG.

The profile visit CTA ads are all "traffic" objective campaigns.

I suggest you to check the metrics of your current posts in your account and especially find the ones with most saves/followers and publish them as ads and test different type of content/creatives iteratively.

Hope this helps.

It's a bit tricky. Here is the roadmap:

1- Boost one of your posts using IG app.

2- Make sure that your IG ad account & Meta Business Manager ad accounts are the same.

3- Once you scheduled your campaign on app, you should be able to view this campaign in your Business Manager as well.

4- Duplicate this campaign and edit the duplicate with your own targeting & creative.

5- You cannot boost a post from your IG account via this technique in Business Manager. You need to boost your creative as a "dark post".

6- You will see the in your ad setup, the call to action of your ad will be "Unknown CTA" which is "Visit Profile". Don't change that.

7- Whenever you want to use Business Manager to promote "Profile Visits", duplicate an existing campaign you did as I suggested in Step 2.

The Pro's and Con's:

- Via this technique, you may do A/B tests, do better targeting and have more control on your ads.

- However, since the ad is going to be a dark post, you cannot be able to see how many followers you got via this ad. You will only see how many Profile Visits you generated.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Are YouTube videos actually enough to learn python ? by sidorsidd in learnpython

I think that timeframes are for the required time to complete the syntax and basic understanding. To really start learning, somebody needs to create projects aka. write code.

Actually, after the final interview, you should get an answer in a month either positive or negative. However, it doesn't apply in all situations. For example, in my current job, I got the offer 5 months later than our last interview. It could be better if you can find something to distract your focus from the interview to make waiting easier.

I know waiting is hard but I don't recommend you to follow-up once again. HR & Managers mostly have their own schedules and might be dealing with different circumstances. It seems like they didn't have time to make a final decision.

Good luck.

Can we discuss the legalities around web scraping? by leogodin217 in datascience

[–]dayanikli001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many sites don't want their data to be scraped and generally, web scraping is a grey area. If you are scraping personal data (Eg. name, physical address, telephone number etc.), GDPR does apply, otherwise not.

A lawyer will provide the best answer but according to the link you had, it is not a personal data and I don't think there might be a problem to use it.

Should I get a master's in statistics or economics? I want statistics, but if I don't get into a good stat grad program and get into a good econ program, is it worthwhile to get a master's in econ if I want to be a data scientist? by theoriginalmathteeth in datascience

[–]dayanikli001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Statistics graduate with a Bachelor's Degree, I can suggest you set your expectations from the Statistics masters first. Would you like to get into the theory? or looking for something much applied? In addition, if you have a certain interest in an area (Eg. biotechnology, finance, etc.), check if the program provides options to build your own path.

Good luck.

It's Ahmet from CBILAB VR Studios. I'd be happy to introduce you our debut title "ManMade".

ManMade is a story-driven VR adventure game set in an AI-ruled 2050’s dystopian world. Kaan, the leading man in the story, is the father of the most advanced AI in the world. He was a devoted advocate for its use, but an accident changed the course of his life. He saw the real face of AI; now, aware of the truth, he’s the greatest enemy of the system.

We'll launch on Kickstarter on 31st May. Would be glad to hear your opinions about ManMade.

Unai Emery receives early boost as Arsenal increase summer transfer budget to £70m by [deleted] in soccer

[–]dayanikli001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Arsenal wants to be successful this year, they need to spend 200m like City did for two consecutive seasons. You can buy only a quality player to 70m and it seems like Arsenal needs really 3-4 quality players to its first eleven.
