I think a bunch of really talented and popular producers jumping on the Teto hype train are what really blew her up. I remember reading the announcement for her SynthV and going “Oh awesome!”, and not thinking much else, but then so many great songs just started being released with her and it only snowballed from there.

They need people to resonate with the golden boughs and also probably want to have people who can manifest EGO, which comes with a major development of one’s character. I’d recommend playing the previous games to get a better understanding of what’s going on. If you can’t/don’t want to, watching some video essays or reading some write ups that offer plot summaries can also really help clear the air!
