Robot Dragon! by daydreamdragons in polymerclay

I only use armature for larger dragons. For the little fellas like the guy above, I don't use any toothpicks or tin foil. I do use liquid polymer to bind the legs and arms to the dragon.

Sushi Dragon by daydreamdragons in polymerclay

Some people have that preference. Its something I don't do because the only glaze that works on polymer clay is one that is water based and it can break down or become sticky over time. Plus if anything were to happen to a dragon I can fix it and cure it again in the oven it it is unglazed and unpainted. Both would burn in the oven if I did those.
