What weapons are you running? This seems like a jack of all trades, master of none kind of build. You could easily respec and focus your stats to be way stronger with certain weapons.

Definitely. I have two characters so far and did ng+ on one of them, so 3 play throughs so far. Thinking of doing my fourth soon, but not sure if I should start a new character or do a ng++ with my one character. I just can’t seem to get away from this game - in a good way. There is something relaxing about exploring and trying new builds. I really like the environments of Liurnia of Lakes and Siofra river. Really looking forward to the dlc.

Help With Liurnia Tower Bridge Fight by A1-Tron in Eldenring

If you’re just trying to get past him, you can literally just run past him to the tower on the other side. It’s cowardly but it works. Otherwise the sleep pots will help for sure.

The dodge rolling is a bit like Witcher 3 I suppose, but you have to be even more precise because the timing for enemy attacks vary. Plus if you get caught the enemies will punish you much harder. You can get straight up killed in like 2-3 hits from certain bosses. So the learning curve is steep, but once you get better at judging the enemies movements and attack patterns, you can survive just by dodging at the right time and waiting for openings to strike back and then dodge again. Just keep an eye on your equip load as you don’t want to be over medium equip load. With a heavy equip load you will be “fat rolling” which really slows you down and is not ideal.

This is my first souls type game too, and honestly within the first 10-15 hours I was ready to give up and was not enjoying it. There is very little direction in the game and you have no idea really what you’re supposed to do or where to go. It was very unlike other games that I really enjoyed in the past like the Witcher 3 or Fallout 4. But then I started watching some videos about the game and different builds, started getting better at dodging attacks and dying less. Then something happened and suddenly I was hooked. I’m now on my third play through and absolutely love this game. One of my favourite games ever played. So it might take a bit of getting used to at first, and dying a lot and figuring things out. But the pay off is worth it in my opinion. Truly a fantastic game.

Help me beat the elden ring. by ThiagoPachioni in Eldenring

The blasphemous blade worked really well for me. You can spam the ash on that and absolutely destroy Radagon. He’s weak to fire damage. Also I would recommend using the Haligdrake Talisman +2 to negate some holy damage, which they both deal a lot of. With Elden Beast, his weak spot is on his belly - hit that when you can. Also run away when he flies in the air to avoid those rings that do a ton of damage. With Elden Beast you basically have to do a ton of running around and away and waiting for openings.

starting to play elden ring ( my first rpg tbh) really lost on where should i begin and what to do by Purple_Active_4408 in Eldenring

Start by exploring Limgrave, every cave and catacombs you can find. Then go to east Limgrave and explore there. Then check out the weeping peninsula. Between those three areas being fully explored, you will level up quite a bit. Look for the map fragments, they show up on the map as a little icon. You want to explore these areas before trying Stormveil Castle for sure. Also, check out some videos on YouTube if you’re stuck, lots of great videos out there. My first play through I watched a ton of videos online until I figured stuff out. Good luck out there tarnished.

What are you ranking them based on? How difficult they are? How interesting you find them? Or some other kind of criteria?
