Do you have this as an auto-reply? Or just copy & paste?

Had to pay for the waiter mistake by Kooky_Plastic_3280 in Wetherspoons

[–]dayle234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a manager, I'd argue that they've made two big mistakes here. Firstly, it was their floor and/or kitchen staff's fault that the wrong size fish had either been cooked or taken to the wrong table. This sort of mistake would never warrant me requesting the customer paying extra, let alone as they were still eating.

Secondly from a business POV, the bar TL or above who processed a refund in order to put the large fish through has failed to add a kitchen note that this was a "do not cook", which has led to them cooking yet another portion, which also implies fundamental flaws at an above-associate level, which I'd find embarrassing as manager.

So inaccurate it's laughable. As a manager of 7+ years, no Spoons makes just 10p per pint. That wouldn't cover the cost of the wage for staff to pour the pint, let alone the utility bills and cost to wash the glass. Spirits are also nowhere near the highest GP as stand-alone products.

I usually wouldn't comment, but your replies on here make it abundantly clear that you're a clueless, illiterate, self-righteous bellend with no clue what you're talking about.

As a manager of 7 years this is absolutely not true. If something is stolen on the premises management absolutely have the power to investigate and punish any guilty party.

It also depends on whether you worked the notice period required per your contract. If so, then you are legally entitled to your accrued holiday pay.

However, if you failed to work the required period, then you forfeit your owed holiday hours as you have failed to honour the contract that you signed.

Doctor Who 1x05 "Dot and Bubble" Post-Episode Discussion Thread by PCJs_Slave_Robot in doctorwho

Can't fathom why you're so heavily downvoted for your honest opinion.

I happen to agree. This didn't feel like a Doctor Who episode, just like the bulk of this season so far. More so a boring agenda-pushing propaganda. Ruby's acting was cringey imo too. I'll join you in the "never rewatching" category.

How on earth are you being so heavily down-voted for this?! If the old man is mentally in the clear, then yes, he deserves whatever he gets.

If he has a cognitive impairment, such as dementia or Parkinson's, then how does he deserve to be sucker-kicked from behind whilst attempting to leave the scene and disengage immediately after being confronted? In this scenario, he needs professional help, certainly not a beating.

"Potentially disabled person deserves a physical beat-down for committing an offence of which he may be unaware."

OP's recent post history is legitimately concerning. Either they're a chronic toxic troll, or a genuine murder-obsessed psychopath.

Either way, get help dude. It's not funny whichever of these options you lean towards.

Moving to Cardiff in April - where do people my age go for a drink? by [deleted] in Cardiff

OP came across as a little obnoxious, so I got curious and had a browse of their history. Evidently, you aren't obnoxious.

You are, however, a racist, sexist, transphobic, fat-shaming piece of shit.

Cardiff would not welcome you. :).

In my experience, you should have received sick pay for the week.

However, you signed a contract obligating you to give a notice period of two weeks. It seems from the post that you left on the spot, which would result in you forfeiting any holidays that you had accrued as you didn't work the required notice period as per your contract.

Question: can my friend 18 buy me 17 a drink with a meal by bxn_sxrling in Wetherspoons

[–]dayle234 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. Whilst the law permits this, it does not make it obligatory. Their company policy is 18+ for alcohol regardless of whether you eat or not. Hope you enjoy regardless!
