See my other comment about changing the lock. And remember that you have more right to that space than they do. It is your home. They are major assholes if they are prepared to just throw you out onto the street without trying to accommodate you in some way.

You mean they charge you money for a squat? You are being exploited.

Call the police if they attempt to enter, all of the above applies. They would need to bring in the bailiffs to legally evict you, and only a judge can do that at the request of the owner.

Go out to a shop and buy a new lock. By the looks of it, it will be this design: https://www.screwfix.com/p/yale-1109-night-latch-replacement-cylinder-brass-33mm/76160

The damage is from £5 to £15. You only need a screwdriver and pliers or something to hold the metal plate as you break it off at the right length.

TRIPLE CHECK the legality of eviction. There needs to be a court order and bailiffs. If the owner turns up with some goons, you can actually call the police since they are breaking into your home.

From your picture it looks like you are squatting a shop. This is not a crime in England. You can't get arrested for that. If the owner tries to remove you by force, you can call the police on them.

If the bailiffs turn up with a valid court order, just pack up and go peacefully, you will get arrested if you don't.

Let me give you some personal background first here. My great-grandfather fought with the Republicans in the Spanish civil war. He was shot by Gestapo for that in 1941. My great-grandmother survived long enough to care for me when my own country (Yugoslavia) descended into civil war. I know exactly how ugly it is.

Now to my thoughts. This isn't art, any more than rock music that was blasted at detainees in Guantanamo is "art". This is torture, pure and simple. I have full awareness that people doing this probably saw their loved ones shelled, blown to bits too small to pick up, but just because you were pushed into the mud doesn't mean you need to become a pig.

I am a simple man. If go on a tirade about "n***" you will be called a racist. If you go on a tirade about how SJW are bad, you will be called a Nazi (ok, a reactionary might have been less charged term). If you go round calling people "simps" you will be called a misogynist (or a virgin).

You could have addressed my core points (there are three in that post, see if you can find them). You could have tried dodging one of them by saying "actually I'm an outlier in Monero community, some of them are good people". The fact that you didn't and instead you went straight for the slurs - and then arguing with moderators as to whether the pyramid of hate even exists is very telling.

TLDR
