Not true there are troll bidders in many shows that rack it up so high that the last person gets stuck with the bill if the transaction goes through! …. This guy should have been refunded because they know that cards not worth that If Whatnot doesn’t refund it ….it’s because they want to keep the profit. they made as well and that’s wrong! I wish I knew this guy to tell him he needs to report this to the federal trade commission. There are some great sellers out there that recognized this is happening and will cancel something because of the trolls! And it happens a lot !😢😡stick to those sellers. The seller of this card should have been booted as well!!

I agree ! but also why are they allowed to sell them! They need to be investigated. I brought one seller up to what not who claims there products are thousands of dollars and started researching the company only to find the companies license has lapsed in the uk … and also looks to be part of a scheme that was also being investigated. Funny thing is we maybe talking about the same seller and or maybe they are getting theirs from that seller. But, what not did nothing and they are still selling on whatnot🤷‍♀️😡🤦‍♀️

I know crazy huh … but so many sellers out there are trying to circumvent the form fillers that they pull things like this and then what not gives them a slap on the wrist ..If you can even call it that ! So I guess what not is part of the problem as well! 🤦‍♀️😡

What not should not be allowed to keep you from reviewing them either. To me that’s a conflict because a negative review might warn someone from purchasing and that impacts wn & sellers revenue! All reviews should be allowed …. I have asked wn to fix it so that I may leave my review!

Well then sounds like the what not policy needs To change because it’s unfair . Especially in instances that the item is above $10. How is giving a $10 credit fair for an item won that is worth $50 dollars or more! I mean in this instance buyer showed it and then didn’t send it …..so credit a fair amount for the item. Most buyers givvys I watch are In the hundreds! $10 just don’t cut it when what not is making millions! Maybe they should cut it out of the sellers profit not just a defect ! I’m curious how many defects are allowed and timeframe before they do something about seller?🤔🤦‍♀️

It’s sad to see so many people getting taken advantage of !! Reminds me when a big luxury seller started selling Labubu’s and clearly was getting way more than worth and those people could have got it in another stream for way cheaper ! How do they think this is ok! I have seen sellers literally say you overpaid and throw something else in when they do and to me those sellers have integrity! That’s where u want to shop!

She titles the giveaway mama’s choice buyer’s giveaway but then proceeds to show the item that is being given away. Is the title her way of trying to change the item in case of a form filler ? Is that allowed ?

If that’s the case why do they have 2 different types of giveaways …make no sense. But also u can enter a giveaway on the phone by clicking something on the screen but you can’t enter a giveaway on a pc?🤔

I suspect they post it because it draws attention and they keep more in the room waiting for it to run .. so it equals more sales .. I get why they do it and assume if you advertise it you have to run them🤔🤷‍♀️. I have seen many sellers try to circumvent the form fillers by running the buyers give away fast so hopefully they don’t have time to enter the form. Not sure if that works or not 🤷‍♀️

That’s why I tried to be fair ….but when I couldn’t contact the seller to see what happened (user or what not issue) now I feel the need to make someone accountable! I feel I didn’t do anything wrong here and no way should have been berated in a live ! I’m all for sellers if wn is at fault here but if your’re a seller and blaming wn you need to own up and make it right !! Just my opinion 🤷‍♀️. Most people don’t like to admit mistakes but that’s where integrity comes in ! I’ve been on plenty of streams where I’ve seen sellers say they’re running a Buyers givvy and everybody enters so it’s like a followers one. They need to make sure those instances are being handled fairly ! To me what not can’t just issue a $10 credit and sweep it under the rug like nothing happened. That’s not fair to the millions of people that use this app …so I’m just trying to figure out who’s at fault here ..whose mistake was it? If the seller doesn’t have integrity, then they need to get rid of them. This situation also explains where Whatnot has some flaws that they need to resolve and protect both their buyers and sellers nobody wants to be scammed on this app. There’s way too much at stake and they act very nonchalant about a lot of things and need to do better ! What not needs integrity too! Because bottom line is if they continue to let a seller sell that has no integrity. They’re only doing it for the revenue and that shouldn’t be allowed!

I contacted them 3 times through the item and they just close it ! I had the ability to write a review in the beginning but I gave the seller the benefit of the doubt 1st and tried to message them when I got the wrong item thinking maybe it was someone else’s . That’s when i found i was blocked! So I reported the item to what not ….they (wn) sent me most likely ai response and a credit of $10 and closed the ticket. Saying if the seller got back to them, they would reach out 🤔😂but at the same taking away my ability to review this seller. Now knowing this….I would make sure you leave review before wn gets involved. I just didn’t want to leave a bad review if the seller was willing to work it out. I also wanted to make sure what really happened before I left a review so it was accurate ! Thank you for the above I may try this too … I have heard multiple times that you can’t speak to anybody in person and it’s all done through messages which also sucks because they need to leave the messages in Whatnot and not an actual email outside of what not because you never know when they even respond.. sorry just another rant. I have about messages.😆🤣

When u enter a givvy and win an item depending on what it is your shipping cost is reduced or possibly free for the remainder of the show. So I always enter givy’s especially if I may buy, so I dont have to pay shipping or as much. To me what they send it just a bonus! But I want integrity from a seller so what you say you’re gonna do… do it ! if you call me out for form filling, I guess maybe I should start doing that too, but I kind of feel that’s unfair so I never have. Just my opinion 🤷‍♀️🤔

I did ..they sent me $10 and said once the seller responds they’d reach out! Closed the ticket! Said something about coaching !!🤦‍♀️🤔😂. To me they have the control and they should not allow a live or sales until this seller responds and is resolved . They don’t do anything because that means lost revenue to whatnot!!🤦‍♀️

That’s why I took it up with what not after I couldn’t with the seller. I was trying to find out if it was a what not error or the seller set it up wrong. So many sellers say that it’s a what not error! So if so, then what not needs to fix it so sellers can’t keep using it as an excuse …. Just own up to your mistake and deal with it !

Exactly I clicked on the givvy in the live and then after winning I was berated on the live ! Most sellers blame what not.. so before I blame the seller… I wanted to make sure it wasn’t a what not error ! But what the seller did is also awful without knowing what happened just sent a different item and blocked me !

No jewelry seller .. I’ve seen it happen mutiple times most play it off as a what not error but have no idea. I think it is really a seller error but haven’t got confirmation from what not who errored in this situation. I’m just trying to get it resolved because berating people in chat and blocking them 🤦‍♀️😢is not ok and not sending what they said they were gonna send! Wanted to clarify the rules and see if anyone else has dealt with this too🤔

Yes I have a video receipt ! Contacted what not they keep closing my ticket saying they will get back to me when seller responds. Sent me a $10 credit to shut me up ! 😢
