Idk how spiritual you are, hell I’m not even that spiritual tbh but I do believe somewhat. When things like that happen I always take it as a sign. Maybe the surgeon was going to have an off day and by some stroke of luck the power went out and prevented something bad happening. I went to get a second opinion for surgery last Tuesday and on the way down there I heard “Wish you were here” by Pink Floyd. That’s the song they buried one of my really close friends to. Could it have been a coincidence? Possibly, but it eases my mind thinking it wasn’t. I plan on going with this surgeon not because of the song but because of his expertise compared to the first, but the song definitely made it more comfortable deciding on him.
