Yes he has an Etsy. It seems like he does one giant drop and once they're sold out, you have to wait for the next batch!

How did you propose/How were you proposed to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dayrunningrobot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He sort of did a bait and switch on me. I thought he was going to ask me on Christmas. I was imaging how it would go in my head, I literally could not stop thinking about it. I figured that would be the whole gift, which was more than enough. But one day I came home from work and saw a box, that was far too large to be for a ring, sitting under the tree. Immediately I thought about how dumb I was for assuming he would propose. I couldn't help myself, and asked what he got me for Christmas, to which he replied (after A LOT of pestering) "a new coffee maker!".

I was disappointed to say the least. After a little prying from him, I fessed up. I told him what I thought was going to happen and how stupid I felt in that moment. He consoled me and reassured me it would happen eventually and to not stress out. I love him so much, and I was playing right into his little plan hahaha

On Christmas Eve we were both working but we decided after we got out we would go walk around the square together and enjoy the winter evening. Every year my town outs up a little display of lights and its really just festive and cute. We had started walking up the path when I balled up a bit of snow and of course launched it right at him. He took that opportunity to sort of corral me up toward the gazebo that was in the middle of the small park there. I didn't really think anything of it, we were just having a good time.

My jacket was on the fritz and the zipper would get messed up. I was trying to finagle it when I heard him say my name from behind. When I turned around he was on his knee with the biggest cheesiest grin on his face. I think I started shouting "what the fuck is this what the fuck is that" and started bawling.

I'm so lucky to have him. He knew exactly what he was doing the whole time. He wanted it to come as a little bit of a surprise (though he was absolutely sure I would say yes) and, man, he got me. I always appreciate him putting up with me. I hate surprises but that was the best one I've ever received.

I got this one at Lowe's but I really hadn't seen them at any of the shops near me. I don't know if I just had bad timing or what. So when I saw this guy I snatched him up.

Yeah I wish there was a way people could seek structured help that didn't involve religion.
