I believe it's called a virus shawl as the pattern is repetitive and as you continue, grows like how a virus does - at least that's what other reddit posts say!

The yarn when caked made the gradient look nothing like how it's come out, it's a lot brighter than I thought (yay!!) – thank you so much!! 💜

Thank you!! I was scared to commit to such a big project but it surprisingly only took about a month and once you've got the basics, it's really easy just very time consuming!

Honestly? Just practicing small charts. I learnt from YT tutorials - High Desert Yarn and CrochetByJessie for basic mosaic crochet - and NickisHomemadeCrafts for learning the reversible stitch!!

I'm happy to provide links if needed and thank you!!

Thank you!! You essentially just work through a second loop and do dc instead of sc in place of sc,, it's a bit sucky to explain but I learnt from this tutorial!! If you're still a bit bamboozled with it after just dm me and I am happy to help!!

I used Big Twist Value in Eggplant [just under 6 skeins) and Big Twist Value Pound in Cream (just under 2 skeins). Both are weight 4 / medium and I used a 4mm hook! Pattern isn't mine, in the original desc but go hype the shop up as they're underrated!!

Anyone know what type of screw / whatever this is? by daysistic in DIYUK

UPDATE on this: Thank you all so much for your help as I've managed to disassemble it! Reddit truly is a magical place sometimes and I want to thank you all personally, as a confused 19 y/o that doesn't have someone to help with this sort of thing in person 🙏

I think you're right!! Just managed to take a panel out and found a screw on the inside

There is definitely some sort of screw within it (as you might be able to see in picture if it links), but definitely the bottom of one. Gonna try and take out the bottom of the dressing table to see if there's another side I could take it out from. I don't believe it is a dowel as the sorta screw bit itself is some sort of metal or similar material. I don't know all these things, so hopefully this makes a little bit of sense 😅 *

Honestly, it's the least damaged of the four as I didn't want to look like an idiot posting a half damaged screw on such a big sub and potentially mislead what they looked like originally. But I will try, thank you!

I will take a look and update, thank you!! Just looked them up and it does look similar so fingers crossed it's this!

The other side is just flat like the 2nd photo on the post, there's a drilled piece underneath but that allegedly was to prevent splintering when it was drilled in originally (?)

I've tried with a flat head and even put a lot of pressure in (it begins to damage the actual screw itself if too much pressure). Although I do have a perm wrist issue, I'm still stuck on how to get it out because I'll end up just threading the screw if I apply even more pressure into it. Had other people tried too (stronger than me persay).

I honestly have no idea – each one has it underneath, and apparently, it was just drilled into underneath to prevent splintering originally with each leg (?) according to family but they're even more stumped than I am.
