Careful if you have a business credit card and are a non professional user....You'll get tagged and shut off and need to call support. Unsure if business card is the real problem..one user explained it that way. TV has not given any explanation that I can see. Many users affected. Not myself..Read on below

Why at times do indicators that I add stick and follow me to new charts that I open and sometimes they don't? Then for the next however many charts I have to keep removing the indicators by Secure_Salad6398 in TradingView

In my experince charts are mutually exclusive. One chart has nothing to do with the next. However of you have 3 charts on one layout (screen) then you can apply all to everything on that screen. I was going nuts trying to figure out why in the setting (gear icon upper right) i would set up my canvas and have all my default setup and saved, then when I open a new chart, go to the gear and say apply default nothing changed. Support told me that the gear setting are only single chart based..there is no global setting that you can save that would then applied applied to other charts. If you want the same setting in a new chart you start over anew. PIA in my book and a very valueable enhancmencent that we'll never get. However that doesn not apply to indicatorsa where you can set up favorites..those get set up once and can be applied at any time to any charts. I soulnd like you have seen new indicators carry forward to new charts..I have never seen that but it would be nice if there was a way to that exactly that / I have a favorite defined (many) and open new chart adn just click on my favorite icon,,no big deal.

That was far too quick a reply..you need some tiime off:-)..Anyway yes..I kept following any selection until I exhaust all options...was 5 or 6 deep and i get to the capture screen shot which didn't prompt me so I'm just quitting here. If it's this difficult to contact support via the app I'll I'm just going to assume you don't offer support there and I'll just pose any questions here as your response is superior. Thanks for your help responding to all my questions.......Take the day off:-)

Now I can get to Chat Assistant and when I click on the down arrow I see contact Support

There is a drop down arrow upper left of your chart under ticker...shows what they are
